- There is one God, who exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
- God is sovereign in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
- The Bible, as originally given, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme authority in all matters of belief and practice.
- Since the fall, the whole of humankind is sinful and guilty, so that everyone is deserving of and subject to God’s wrath and judgment.
- The Lord Jesus Christ is God’s incarnate Son. He is fully God; was born of a virgin; his humanity is real and sinless; he died on the cross; was literally raised from the dead and now reigns over heaven and earth.
- Sinful people can be redeemed from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through Christ’s once-for-all sacrificial and substitutional death. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between humankind and God.
- Those who turn from sin and believe in Christ are forgiven all their sins and accepted in God’s sight through the righteousness of Christ freely given to them; this salvation is God’s act of wondrous mercy, received not on the basis of human merit but solely thru the grace of Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Spirit is present now to make the saving power and work of Christ experiential to individuals, empowering them to turn to God from their sin and to trust in Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Spirit dwells within all those he has regenerated. He reveals, imparts, empowers, and equips every believer in the process of being transformed into the image of Christ (in character, behavior, and mission in the world.)
- The holy church is the Body of Christ, consisting of all those on Earth who truly believe in and belong to Christ.
- The Lord Jesus Christ will return bodily to judge all people, to execute God’s just condemnation on those who have not repented, and to receive the redeemed to eternal glory.
